Bootcamp and Yoga – why is it so effective?

After quite some time, last Saturday we finally combined BootCamp with Yoga again. Some of you might be familiar with the term BooYo, we have however expanded the concept a bit. The subsequent Core Power Yoga session was held in a heated room at 32-35 degrees Celsius.

First, we began with an outdoor BootCamp workout. After the interval training and a small refreshment, we continued with an hour long Core Power‎ Yoga in the Hot Room of Yogaholics United.

The weather was not really that inviting on the weekend. After the cold workout outside, we were all really heated up with a yoga session at 32-35 degrees Celsius.

Why is the combination of both kinds of training ideal?
The intense Functional Interval Training does not only help to get your body in shape and build stamina but offers a high stress relief component, which is a particular result of training outside in the fresh air. However, it is important from both mental and physical standpoints to stretch, relax, and let the strained muscles soften.

That’s where yoga comes into play, assisting for the effects of the BootCamp workout to unfold and strengthen the core area really well. The stretching is even better in a heated room, as the body will get quite warm.

As everyone had such a great time, we are planning to continue offering it every last Saturday of the month.

We look forward to your participation at our next BooYo 🙂
